The monumental sculptures created for this new exhibition reflect Lorenzo’s evolution into a mature artist who looks for inspiration beyond his family and personal experiences to broader, more universal issues. Lorenzo reaches new heights as he combines his vision and skill to create pieces on a grand scale, such as Statistics, his response to a newspaper graph showing the numbers of casualties from current conflicts around the world.

Lorenzo’s work represents an artist’s need to understand and interpret what is happening around us. He reflects on the emotional experience and invites us to participate and respond with our own thoughts and feelings.
