Halcyon Gallery’s sculpture exhibition highlights the many international public commissions that the Gallery has made possible: examples such as Lorenzo Quinn’s ‘Rise Through Education’ at the ASPIRE Academy in Qatar, Wu Ching-ju’s ‘Beauty, Goodness and Fertility’ at the Xu Hui Art Museum in Shanghai, and Simon Gudgeon’s ‘Thoth’ in Berkeley Square, London. As Henry Moore said, ‘Sculpture is an art of the open air. Daylight, sunlight, is necessary to it, and for me its best setting and compliment is nature.’
