Founded in 1982 by Paul Green in Birmingham, UK, Halcyon Gallery has championed emerging and established international artists who display exceptional talent, technical skill and intrinsic creativity. From the first gallery at Birmingham New Street Station to Bond Street today, Halcyon Gallery curates a competitive, annual modern art programme including large-scale public installations and important museum-scale exhibitions within the UK and worldwide.

With forty years of experience working with contemporary artists and in the acquisition of modern masters, Halcyon Gallery is committed to building distinguished art collections, placing works of the highest quality. The inhouse team offers a  comprehensive and bespoke after-sales service to assist with all aspects of art collecting and the after-care process including framing, storage, insurance, delivery, installation, lighting and maintenance.

From the relative solace of Hyde Park in London, to the majesty of the Grand Canal in Venice; the courtyard of the State Hermitage in Saint Petersburg; or the bustle at the heart of Shanghai's financial district, public art is an integral part of the Halcyon gallery programeme.

Halcyon Gallery has a long-standing passion for philanthropy and is responsible for numerous fundraising initiatives within the public sector. The Gallery works with charities and non-profit organisations, including The Royal Parks Foundation and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's Award World Fellowship.

We strongly believe in the life-enhancing value of art and through our ongoing education programme in the form of large-scale interactive exhibitions, public and institutional placements of artists' work, school visits, and loans of masterpieces to major exhibitions at institutions worldwide, we strive to share our expertise and make art accessible to the next generation.
