We are pleased to announce a new exhibition of sculptures and graphics entitled "Transformation" in the Exhibition Hall of one of the first European art academies - Accademia Delle Arti del Disegno, organized on the initiative of Italy's Association of the Friends of the Hermitage Museum.

The exhibition will display works by Dashi Namdakov, a Russian artist who is well-known both in Russia and abroad, including Italy, France, the UK, and the USA. Namdakov has a long history of cooperation with Italian workshops specializing in artistic casting, and in 2013 was awarded the prestigious Italian sculpture prize.

According to experts, Namdakov's art is a synthesis of the artistic traditions of East and West, an organic combination of archaic and modern motifs and symbols conveyed via the author's original sculptural language.
