In 1951 Eve Arnold became the first woman to take pictures for the Magnum Photos agency, a photographic co-operative of great diversity and distinction. Having received numerous awards and honours, Arnold is best known for her extensive and captivating portraits of Marilyn Monroe, which are some of the most tender images ever produced of the Hollywood star.
This year Eve Arnold received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Sony World Photography Awards. She was honoured at the annual awards ceremony in Cannes on 22 April, the day after her 98th birthday, amongst leading figures of the international photographic community.
On show in the gallery will be a selection of exclusive limited edition photographs including intimate scenes from the set of The Misfits.
