This exhibition is an overview of Halcyon Gallery’s commitment to the placement of public sculpture and reviews the six monumental works that form a delightful walking tour around the heart of London.
Over the last two years the residents of Mayfair have been able to enjoy Lorenzo Quinn’s sculptures, Give & Take III and The Force of Nature II, in Berkeley Square and in 2009 Simon Gudgeon’s Isis was sited next to the Serpentine in Hyde Park. These works are joined by three further pieces by Quinn: Volare at Cadogan Place (Private Residence), Finding Love at One Hyde Park, (the new luxury private residences from Candy & Candy) and Vroom Vroom on Park Lane (opposite The Dorchester). The eye-catching Jelly Baby Family 2010 by Mauro Perucchetti at Marble Arch completes Halcyon Gallery’s fabulous collection of public sculpture.
