An exhibition of limited edition graphics from The Drawn Blank Series by Bob Dylan will be on display at 24 Bruton Street from 13 February – 10 April. There have previously been two collections of graphics released, both which sold out across the country. Archived by the Halcyon Gallery in 2008 specifically for this exhibition, this is one of the last opportunities to own pieces from this collection. Based on a series of drawings and sketches Dylan executed while on tour during the late 1980s and early 1990s, these works relate to all elements of his creative life. As explained by Tobias Ruther, writing in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, who credited Dylan with successfully translating his songs into art and commented, “That which he’s done for years on the stage – performing new versions of his old songs in order to give a fresh interpretation – he’s now continuing on deckle-edged paper.”
